Terra 2.0 Will Be a New Chain Instead of a Fork, the Team Says

Terra clarifies on Twitter that Terra 2.0 in Prop 1,623 will be a genesis chain instead of a fork of the existing chain, which will be called Terra Classic. If the proposal passes, Terra 2.0 shall be created starting from genesis block 0 that will not share history with Terra Classic. DApps and assets on the old chain need to migrate to Terra 2.0. By now, dApps including PRISM, Stader, RandomEarth and One Planet have committed to migrate.
