The Merge Testnet of Ethereum Kiln Is Live, Full Transition to PoS Expected This Week

Ethereum core developer Tim Beiko tweeted that Kiln, the Ethereum merge testnet, is live and is expected to be fully transitioned to a proof-of-stake mechanism (PoS) this week (after March 17). The previous merge testnet, Kintsugi, will be deprecated in the next few weeks. Kiln is expected to be the last merge testnet created before existing public testnets are upgraded.
