The Stock Exchange of Thailand Plans to Launch Digital Asset Exchange This Year

TokenInsight news, Pakorn Peetathawatchai, president of the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET), said in an interview that the SET's digital asset exchange is expected to begin official operations in the second or third quarter of this year. It is reported that the exchange will focus on investment tokens and utility tokens. In addition, the stock exchange will be integrated explicitly with a cryptocurrency exchange, allowing investors to convert their crypto into fiat before trading on the SET. Previously, SET announced plans to launch a digital asset trading platform in January 2021, but said it would not include cryptocurrencies.
