UK Grappling with Brain Drain to Crypto Exchanges

The U.K. is grappling with the brain drain to crypto exchanges. The NPCC estimates that there are currently about 15 people from police or law enforcement backgrounds working for crypto companies, with Coinbase, Binance and Chainalysis all hiring former law enforcement officers. The UK National Police Chiefs' Council says it is losing officers and staff with experience in cybercrime regulation at a rate three to four times faster than other police staff and is working to address it.
