US Financial Regulators Investigating FTX Over Handling of Client Funds and Lending

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) are investigating whether FTX properly handled customer funds, as well as its relationship with FTX US and Alameda Research, Bloomberg reports.

According to people familiar with the matter, the SEC's inquiry began months ago as a probe into FTX US and its crypto-lending activities.
