$USDC Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol (CCTP) Live on Arbitrum

Circle announced that Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol (CCTP) is now live on Arbitrum, which enables direct transfers of native $USDC among Ethereum, Arbitrum and Avalanche.

CCTP allows $USDC cross-chain transfer through a burn-and-mint mechanism, removing the need to lock up liquidity. Circle has launched native $USDC on Arbitrum on June 8th. Now, the official Arbitrum bridge provides access to the ecosystem apps that support CCTP, including Celer cBridge, Interport Finance, LI.FI, Router Protocol, O3 Swap, WanBridge and Wormhole.
