According to the Decrypt, after the payment service company Square founded by Twitter founder Jack Dorsey provided digital asset investment services, its users purchased a total of $2.7 billion worth of Bitcoin in the second quarter of 2021. The company's profit from Bitcoin investment mainly comes from the difference between the amount paid by users and the amount actually paid by Square to buy Bitcoin in the market.
