Velodrome, a Solidly-based DEX launched by veDAO, announced that it will go live on Optimism May 31, and users can check out the availability of airdrops at velodrome.finance (currently not available for viewing). Projects currently confirmed to partner with Velodrome include Hundred Finance, Alchemix, MakerDAO, Frax Finance, TreasureDAO, Thales, and Perpetual Protocol.
Previously, Velodrome announced that 60% of the initial release of $VELO (400 million) will be airdropped. 45% will be allocated to WeVE holders, 25% to cross-chain DeFi users (including Curve, Convex, Platypus Finance, TreasureDAO, Redacted Cartel Protocol), and 30% will be allocated to $OP holders.
