Vidente VP Commits Suicide by Jumping from Building During Korean Prosecution Investigation

Park, a vice president of Vidente, the largest shareholder of Bithumb, committed suicide by jumping off a building during an investigation by Korean prosecutors.

For Park's extreme choice, it is suspected that the Kang siblings (Bithumb management) put all the blame on him for the recent suspicions of embezzlement and share price manipulation. Kang's siblings allegedly earned improper profits by manipulating stock prices and issuing convertible corporate bonds, and transferred the money to shell companies.

The prosecution is also suspicious of this situation and is conducting an investigation.
