Web 3 Music Platform Audius Integrated with TikTok

Web3 music streaming platform Audius announced on Thursday that it is adding support for social media giant TikTok.

The integration will allow TikTok users to create Audius accounts easily by linking their profiles, and to import their handle and verification status. Additionally, users can share Audius songs in their TikTok videos. Audius co-founder Forrest Browning stated that the integration would attract a wider group of talent to the platform and enable artists to interact with and gain the attention of celebrities on TikTok.

Audius is a decentralized music streaming platform that operates on Web3 principles, providing artists with greater control over their music, earnings, and fanbase while bypassing traditional gatekeepers like distributors. Audius connects fans directly with artists and new music in a decentralized manner, without charging subscription fees.

$AUDIO is the native token of the Audius music streaming platform. The token is used for a variety of purposes, including staking and governance, as well as incentivizing users and creators on the platform. For example, users can earn $AUDIO tokens by listening to and curating content, while creators can earn tokens as a form of payment for their work. Additionally, the token can be used to access premium features on the platform, such as ad-free listening and exclusive content.
