Web3 game studio GamePhilos has closed an $8 million seed round led by Animoca Ventures, Xterio, SevenX Ventures, and Chain Hill Capital, with participation from Hashkey Capital, Sanctor Capital, Game7, Hashkey Capital, Sanctor Capital, Game7, Bas1s, GSR and GSG Ventures.

The funds raised will be used to develop and publish the team's upcoming mobile and PC strategy game, Age of Age. The game will leverage the Xterio Foundation platform, which will provide technical support and a software development kit for the game.

Age of Dino will be deployed on BNB Chain's Layer 2 opBNB and is scheduled to launch in selected countries early next year on mobile devices.
