Web3 Startup Nillion Closes $20 Million Funding Round with HashKey Involved

Web3 startup Nillion closed a $20 million round of funding led by Distributed Global with participation from HashKey, AU21, Big Brain Holdings, OP Crypto, and others. The funding will be put toward building technology on the network and hiring engineering talent.

Nillion's founders include ex-Uber, Indiegogo and Hedera Hashgraph employees, as well as executives from Coinbase and Nike. The startup aims to provide a new internet infrastructure for securing storage and data computation.

In the short term, Nillion plans on focusing on building out and supporting real use cases while launching its network alongside its initial suite of products.
