Web3 Working Group Closes $2 Million Funding Round with The Graph Involved

The Web3 Working Group, a nonprofit dedicated to education around crypto and DeFi infrastructure, announced that it has closed a $2 million round of funding with participation from Arweave, The Graph, Livepeer and Akash.

The funds raised will be used to create videos aimed at consumers and regulators to help explain basic encryption concepts and provide a range of informational resources for developers. Web3 Working Group founders Amy James and Devon James were previously founders of the Open Index Protocol, an open source index and file library project.

The organization plans to launch a series of primer educational videos to help more people understand the basics of crypto concepts, including public key cryptography and blockchains, aiming to fill knowledge gaps through educational content.
