WonderFi Technologies Plans to Acquire Canadian Crypto Trading Platform Coinberry

Crypto platform WonderFi Technologies plans to acquire Canadian crypto trading platform Coinberry for $30.6 million in consideration, with the deal expected to close in the second quarter. WonderFi CEO Ben Samaroo said the Canadian crypto market is still fragmented, so consolidation is key for WonderFi. In addition, WonderFi plans to expand globally this year while offering a diversified digital asset offering.
