Amber Group Owes Crypto Lender Vauld's CEO $130 Million

According to The Block, crypto trading firm Amber Group owes around $130 million to crypto lender Vauld's CEO Darshan Bathija. Amber has to repay Bathija by June 2023, according to the latest Vauld affidavit dated Nov. 25. 

Vauld halted client withdrawals in July and owes more than $400 million to creditors. Amber Group is cutting jobs, scrapping retail operations and terminating a sponsorship deal with Chelsea FC, according to Bloomberg.
