Aurora to Stop Rainbow Bridge Today, to Resume Bridge Operations After Ethereum Merge

NEAR ecosystem EVM scaling network Aurora said that in order to avoid potential risks such as transaction replay attacks from the upcoming Ethereum merge, the Rainbow Bridge will be stopped starting September 11th at 11:00 UTC. The team will resume bridge operations after the Merge, as soon as they feel certain about their users' safety on the new ETH network. Aurora will not pause transfers between NEAR and Aurora during this time.
