CoinEx Suspends Deposit and Withdrawal Services, Promises to Compensate Affected Parties

Crypto exchange CoinEx acknowledged a security incident on its platform with anomalous withdrawals from several hot wallet addresses used to store CoinEx's exchange assets. IPreliminary assessments indicate unauthorized transactions involving ETH, TRON, and MATIC. The precise amount of the loss is still being determined, and the affected fund is just a very small portion of CoinEx's total asset.

CoinEx stated that affected parties will receive 100% compensation for any loss incurred due to this breach. Deposit and Withdrawal services on the platform have been temporarily suspended and will resume after a thorough review.

Additionally, CoinEx said it has identified and isolated the suspicious wallet addresses associated with the hack. The team is actively working with the affected cryptocurrency projects to develop a solution.
