Connext: Users Not Directly Affected by Nomad Hack

Layer2 interoperability protocol Connext tweeted that it announced in April that it would be working towards a network upgrade to allow Connext to use the Nomad infrastructure for generalized messaging, but this change is still on testnet, so Connext users were not directly affected by the Nomad hack. Affected parties included Connext routers providing liquidity on the affected chains. Connext routers held a total sum of $3,342,744 in madAssets on the affected chains. The Nomad vulnerability impacted parties holding assets on the chains that use nomad assets as their canonical assets: Moonbeam, Evmos, and Milkomeda. As a result, Connext has temporarily stopped support for these chains.
