PeckShieldAlert: Widespread Hack on Solana Wallets Leads to About $8 Million in Loss

PeckShieldAlert tweeted that the widespread hack on Solana wallets is likely due to the supply chain issue exploited to steal/uncover user private keys behind affected wallets. So far, the loss is estimated to be $8M, excluding data related to an illiquid shitcoin $EXIST. It is known that there are only 30 holders of $EXIST, and the previous SlowMist release of the Solana wallet attack loss of about $580 million included a misestimation of $570 million for $EXIST.
