Epic Games Raised $2 Billion in Funding from Sony and Lego Family with Valuation at $31.5 Billion

Fortnite creator Epic Games raised $2 billion in funding, which values Epic Games at $31.5 billion. Sony and Kirkbi, the family investment company behind Lego, will invest $1 billion each. The fund will be used to accelerate Epic Games' work to build the metaverse. Epic Games and Lego announced a partnership last week to co-develop a family-friendly metaverse for kids.
