Lava Network Launches Decentralized RPC Network

Lava Network has announced the launch of its decentralized RPC network testnet. Lava is building the open standard for blockchain RPC and APIs and aims to equip developers who are building apps of all shapes and sizes with the best tools to access blockchains, in an open-source and community-led way.

The Lava Gateway is now open to all developers and offers multi-chain support, rapid onboarding, consensus-based data integrity, private relays, and is open-source. The Lava Access SDK will offer all the benefits of the Gateway with maximum decentralization.

Lava Network's vision is to make blockchain data trustless, universally accessible, and always available. To that end, the company is also launching a new way for the community to vote on the next chain to be added. Users can vote on the next chain in the Discord channel.

A Decentralized RPC Network is a distributed network of Remote Procedure Call (RPC) nodes that allows decentralized applications and clients to communicate with a blockchain network. The current largest Decentralized RPC Network is Pocket Network.
