Web3 Weather Network Weather XM Raised $5M in Seed Round with Participation from ConsenSys Mesh and Others

Web3 weather network Weather XM announced that it has closed a $5m seed funding round led by Placeholder VC, with participation from ConsenSys Mesh, Metaplanet, Protocol Labs and others. Weather XM aims to utilize crypto incentives to improve the accuracy of weather forecasts. Users can buy personal weather stations to become operators, and earn rewards for collecting and validating data. Currently, the project is in beta, and its token rewards are on the Polygon testnet, with a mainnet launch being prepared.
