Beniamin Mincu, Founder and CEO of Elrond, tweeted that the previous bug in the Elrond ecosystem DEX project Maiar have been resolved and two mainnet upgrades have been proposed and adopted by the Elrond verifier community. Secondly, all funds are safe, all user funds will be fully available when Maiar restarts, and almost all stolen funds have been recovered. Any remaining missing funds caused by the known bug, will be covered in full by the Elrond Foundation. In addition, pending bridge transfers have been processed and the bridge function will be restarted today. Maiar DEX is in the final stages of testing and preparation, and full functionality will be available on June 8 at 9:00 UTC.
Previously, hackers exploited a bug in Elrond ecosystem DEX Maiar to steal about 1.65 million $EGLDs and dump them on chain.
